GET COLLEGE CREDIT IN HIGH SCHOOL
Easy
steps for attending Arapahoe Community College
while still in high school.
Juniors
and Seniors, did you know you can attend Arapahoe Community College (ACC)
while still in high school? Its true! Under a State program called
the Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) Act. The Act allows
you the opportunity to earn college credits before you even graduate from
high school. You can also use ACC classes to fulfill high school requirements.
Then, you can continue your studies at ACC or transfer your credits to
another college or university.
Follow
these easy steps:

START
AT YOUR HIGH SCHOOL
- Obtain
the State Wide Agreement Between Colorado School District and
a Colorado College form.

You and your parents will complete Sections A & D on this form.

Meet with your high school counselor to determine what classes to take;
your counselor will complete Section B and forward the form to your
school district for approval.

Complete an Arapahoe Community College Application for Admissions form.

REGISTER
AT ARAPAHOE COMMUNITY COLLEGE
- Your
high school or school district will forward your State Wide Agreement
Between Colorado School District and a Colorado College form and
Application for Admissions form to ACC.

After receiving your paperwork, we will get you cleared to register
for your ACC courses. (NOTE: Before registering for ACC courses make
sure you have met placement test or pre-requisite requirements. See
FAQ for more information.)

Registration at ACC is EASY! You may register via Touchtone Telephone
(303) 389-0058, ACC WEB (www.arapahoe.edu)
or you can come to ACC and register in-person.
